I just fell in love with this woodland animal print - the scale of it is so fun. I decided to make the other side a complete contrast in style and theme - but they work together as they are both strong colours and designs.
My kids aprons are so practical. I started making them many years ago when my own children were young and I was looking for ideas for the school fete. Over the years I've changed the overall design very little - the pockets are now bigger and I've a developed a clever cross back tie system, which means you only need to buy one apron that grows with your child.
I've always made them reversible with two fun themes to choose from - because sometimes we want to be a bit different that we were the day before.
And as I love working with different prints, each combination is only made in small numbers. I am constantly coming up with new designs - check out my children's apron section to see what I currently have in stock.

With its medley of kids in space craft, and gorgeous acorn searching squirrels, this stunning reversible apron is perfect for a child who loves nature and space. It's ideal for cooking and baking cakes all through the year, and to encourage them to help with cleaning chores. Or why not use for art work or just covering up at mealtimes.
With an ajustable fit due to the unique cross ties, this will fit a child between the age of 4 and 10 years, depending on how much coverage you want.
One side of this apron features a fantastic woodland animal scene - complete with squirrels hunting for acorns and little hedgehogs. For the other side I use one of my favourite prints - retro rocket rascals that have little space kids exploring the universe in 1950s style spacecraft - offset in red with a green patchwork pocket. Each sode has a patchwork of co-ordinating accent fabrics - these may vary from apron to apron.
White cotton tape forms apron ties that cross over at the back and thread through loops at the waist, before tying in a bow - the adjustable style allows this apron to grow with your child.
Size approx 22 inches long by 20 inches wide (56 by 52 cm) without tapes.
Machine washable, can be tumbled and ironed on a medium heat.
