Full description
A little get well card with a newspaper dandelion seed to send someone a wish. Perfect for someone going through a difficult time to tell them you are thinking of them. The seed is made of newspaper yarn.
Illustrations are hand drawn and each card is individually hand crafted.
The newspaper yarn used in these recycled greetings cards is carefully handspun from hand cut, thin strips of newspaper. I have tried spindles/shredders, but I find that using my fingers helps keep the yarn fine as possible as well as allowing me more control over the colours and textures produced.
I also think there is something important about knowing the newspaper has physically passed through the hands of the maker, which transforms the bad news stories and makes them a part of your stories as you send them to your friends and family.
Card handmade from recycled card and handspun newspaper yarn with a kraft brown recycled envelope and wrapped in a compostable corn starch wrapper.
