The vases are inspired by the birds and patterns which feature in Scandinavian folk imagery.

Full description
Scandinavian inspired ceramic bird vase, slab built from white ceramic stoneware. Glazed on the outside with a dry turquoise and inside with shiny clear glaze. The decoration is created by applying coils of clay and then using various mark making tools to press designs into the piece. The size of the piece is 13cm across and 10cm high.
This bird has stars pressed in from my modest letterpress collection.
