My children used to love carrying little toys around when they were little but we found playmats were often too large. I designed them small enough to fit in a bag and with a little pocket for all the space gear.
Great for playing at home or on the go, with friends or alone, my play scenes will stretch your child's imagination and learning.

This beautiful handmade space play scene is a travel sized playmat that has a pocket for little toys that will keep your child amused for hours. Beautifully made with lots of machine and hand embroidered motifs in wool felt, it folds up - making it easy to take with you on days out or on holiday, as well as storage at home.
Perfect for using with your own toy animals such as Schleich, ELC, Wild Republic - typical height 1 to 2 inches. (Toys in the photos are for display purposes only.)
A lovely gift for children at any age, my play mats are fully tested to EN71 toy safety standards and UKCA marked - a requirement for all children's toys sold in the UK.
MADE TO ORDER
SIZE/STYLE:
- original "play on the go" travel size 10 by 20 inches when open (25 by 50cm)
- larger table square versions 20 by 20 inches (twice the size)
OPTIONAL PERSONALISATION - I can embroider a name on the play scene or on the cover - see images for examples.
As they are hand made, the fabric placements and felt and embroidery details may vary a little on each scene.
Please note the play mats are now secured with a velcro strap, not the button shown in the image, as this is easier for kids to open themselves.
Care: Sponge clean or gentle hand washing. Natural flat drying.
