I love the coast and wanted to create a set of dinner plates inspired by the sea. The shape of these plates is reminiscent of rock pools at my favourite Devon beach. The colours have been chosen specially to reflect the changing moods of the ocean.

Full description
Sea Shell is a rustic yet beautiful handmade pottery dinner plate. This design has a creamy, glossy glaze, with pale hues of blue and mauve with warm undertones and golden flecks - reminiscent of shells found along a sandy shore. I press clay over a mould and carefully cut to shape. The plate is finished and then slowly dried. I fire my plates to 1060 degrees centigrade. The plate is then glazed and fired for a second time.
Every plate is totally unique, making each one a work of art. My makers mark is on the rim.

This plate is made with lead free glazes.
They are dinnerware safe.
Wash by hand.
Not suitable for use in a microwave.
