I love hand sewing bright, colourful things, usually smaller than this picture. I decided to use some of my fabric in a different way by individually cutting out the flowers and adding beads and stitches to them on to the linen background. I thought the heart shape would frame the lettering well.

Full description
This cheerful picture is an original, designed by me.The flowers are cut from fabric and sewn on to the linen background using embroidery stitches, beads and the odd button.The heart shape has been painted using fabric paints and the leaves have been embellished with embroidery.The lettering has been added using back stitch.
The picture has been framed and will have glass to protect from dust.
