Here are some things just listed by other crafters and sellers on Folksy.
I have been making things for as long as I can remember. My nan taught me to knit and I still have a pair of Fair-Isle socks that I made when I was about 12. My mum was an excellent seamstress and made my sister and me matching cotton dresses when we were little. She taught me to hand-sew and to embroider and cross-stitch.I have had a go at lots of crafts such as patchwork, quilting, macrame and tapestry.
For the past few years I have enjoyed making small things, usually out of felt. It comes in so many gorgeous colours and is a pleasure to use. I used to paint folk-art designs on to pots and trays and now I transfer these designs on to the things I make, often pincushions and needle-cases. I recently won a pincushion competition held by my local sewing shop and won some lovely prizes.
I usually sew in our back room overlooking the garden with Harry, my King Charles spaniel, on squirrel patrol on the window sill!
