Seeing these little creatures in an aquarium, I realised they can be almost any colour....enough inspiration to start designing.

Full description

This an 8 page PDF knitting PATTERN with instructions for one size of baby blanket:

45cm x 60cm (18" x 24").

The blanket is knitted in one piece and the edging knitted separately and sewn on. There are written instructions for the central textured panel and a chart for the two seahorse panels. The chart is provided in two formats: 1 x A3 (11 x 17) and 2 x A4 (8.5 x 11). If you do not have an A3 printer or would prefer to print two A4 charts and join them together there are instructions for how to do this.

I usually back this blanket with quilting, there are instructions for how to do this in the pattern.

You will need to know how to do intarsia and fair isle for this pattern.

Materials required: 1 pair 3.25mm knitting needles, darning (sewing up) needle.

Quilting if required 47cm x 62cm

Rowan Cotton Glace 100% cotton: 4 x 50g main colour; 2 x 50g edging colour; very small amounts of 10 shades in the same yarn.

You can buy a knitting kit in my Folksy shop for this blanket which provides you with sufficient yarn to knit and sew it up.

The PDF file will be sent as an attachment to your email address. I aim to reply within 48 hours. If you would prefer a printed copy on good quality paper, or have any queries about the pattern, please message me.
