I designed this blanket in response to knitters who prefer to knit with one shade at a time. After the success of the Coast pattern I wanted a land-based theme so this blanket has designs reflecting fields and meadows .

Full description
This is a 10 page knitting PATTERN with instructions for three sizes of blanket: small 45cm x 60cm; medium 60cm x 75cm; large 75cm x 75 cm.
I designed this blanket for knitters who like to knit with one shade at a time. There are 13 different textured designs featured, some are traditional designs and some my own. The designs are all on the theme of meadows and fields. You will need a cable needle for some of the designs and others involve bobbles and twisted stitches. The instructions are written, there are no charts to follow in this pattern. The pattern instructions are for the blankets as they appear in the images, but they can be re-arranged as desired or the blanket made smaller or larger. The squares can be knitted in strips from bottom to top then sewn together vertically. The edging is sewn on last.
All the blankets in my Baby Blankets collection are constructed in the same way and each square has the same number of stitches and rows so that there is plenty of scope for re-arranging to your own liking.
Materials required: 1 pair 3.25mm knitting needles, a cable needle.
Rowan Cotton Glace 100% cotton: small blanket 5 x 50g balls; medium blanket 8 x 50g balls; large blanket 10 x 50g balls.
