This is part of a series of pendants and necklaces made by fusing silver wire onto copper shapes. The effects are unpredictable, sometimes the wire will only melt just enough to fuse, other times it will almost entirely blend with the base copper before it is fused to it. This one has very clear outlines to the wire, there was actually more wire on it but it fell off after cleaning. That's the nature of this work, you get what you get and to an extent its outside my control.

Full description
A fun heart shaped pendant, slightly off centre with pure silver wire fused to it's surface in the shape of a long and a short hook. The copper shape has been formed by hand after the silver was fused to it to give it a curve and a slightly three dimensional feel.
The effect of heating the copper gives an interesting play of colours on the surface including red and green. the surface is hand burnished to a fairly high polish.
The pendant hangs by a hand made, twisted copper wire loop on a very fine, natural leather thong. the fastener is a copper effect 'lobster claw' catch.
