Full description

A stained glass inspired, hand appliqueed design on black felt. The fabric pieces are applied by the needle turning method, ensuring that raw edges are safely enclosed under the patches. The centre of the flower is embellished with a couched spiral of mixed gold thread.

The brooch is reinforced with a layer of plastic cut from a re-cycled bottle. The back of the brooch is covered with a black felt and blanket-stitched in place round the edge of the brooch. A brooch pin is securely stitched in place.

Dimensions:

Length: 9 cm approx

PLEASE NOTE: items from Lynwoodcrafts are intended for adults. This brooch contains a functional sharp pin and small parts which may represent a choking hazard to children under 36 months.

Items of embroidered jewelry may not be entirely colourfast and care should be taken that jewellery items do not get wet in use in case colour should be transferred to items of clothing.
