"Good News from Bad" items are made from newspapers handspun into newspaper yarn and made into items to celebrate good news! All colours are from the newspaper. What seems black and white at first, reveals a rainbow of colours when handspun into yarn.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Congratulate someone on the birth of a new baby with this little balloon card.
Please get in touch to let me know how many balloons, what colour and what words you would like.
If you are able post me a page of newspaper from the day the baby was born, or cover the cost of purchasing, we can make the card extra special by using this paper!
If I do not hear from you - you will receive a balloon of a random colour and the words will say "new baby" in a matching colour.
Made from hand spun newspaper yarn and recycled card. The plastic bag is compostable. All the colour in the yarn has come from the ink in the newspaper - I don't add colours.
"Goodnewsfrombad" is all about recovery, hope and transforming old stories (particularly difficult bad news stories) into new ones.
The newspaper yarn I make is carefully handspun from hand cut, thin strips of newspaper. I have tried spindles/shredders, but I find that using my fingers helps keep the yarn fine as possible as well as allowing me more control over the colours and textures produced.
I also think there is something important about knowing the newspaper has physically passed through the hands of the maker, which transforms the bad news stories and makes them a part of your stories as you send them to your friends and family.
This card is individually hand-crafted to-order and each item may therefore look slightly different to the one photographed.
