I love creating beautiful pieces using semi precious stones and my jewellery was almost a natural progression from my glass work as I use beaded links in a few of my suncatchers.
According to Celtic belief the Tree of Life is the best way to symbolise the balance and harmony observed in nature. The Tree of Life is believed to be an entity which connects the lower and upper worlds, the branches reaching to heaven and the roots with the lower world while the trunk is on the plane of the earth. The Tree Of Life is believed to represent virtues such as strength, beauty, wisdom, protection, bounty and redemption.

A beautiful Tree Of Life pendant created using tiny Peridot gemstone chips and spirals of silver plated wire. It would be perfect for a bride on her wedding day, or for her attendants and bridesmaids or could be given as a gift on a birthday or anniversary.
Peridot, also known as the 'evening emerald' is the birthstone for those born during August and would be a beautiful gift for a friend or loved one born in that month. The light green of Peridot stands for truth, love, power, influence, faithfullness, loyalty, dignity and protection. This stone is believed to to help with lungs, lymph, breast and sinus related health problems. Peridot's are believed to bring about growth, prosperity, and openness.
This beautiful pendant is individually handcrafted using silver plated wire which is wound into spirals before the Tree of Life is woven into the piece using 2-3mm Citrinel nuggets mounted on silver plated wire.
The pendant itself measures about 3cm across, or about 1.25 inches. The piece is hung from a 16 inch silver plated snake chain and is presented in a beautiful silver grey gift box. If you would like this piece on a longer chain please contact me for details.
