Simple modern pots with a rustic twist. All my pots are wheel thrown by me and fired in my electric kiln. I enjoy using stoneware clays and make all my glazes from scratch, decorating my pots with simple colour combinations. Most of my pots are practical items to use everyday around the home and include jugs, bowls, vases and other homeware items. Find out more about my latest designs on my website: www.judeallman.com.
The Original Bird Tail Pouring Bowl as featured in Homes and Gardens Magazine.
These lovely bird bowls have so many uses around the home and make lovely gifts. Each bowl is hand-thrown in stoneware clay and features a pouring lip and small handle - giving them the appearance of little birds with a tail. They fit snugly in your hand while pouring and can be used for oils, dressings, dips, spices and much more.
This particular design includes a rustic brown glaze for the bowl and an oatmeal glaze on the 'tail' handle. These glazes are food safe and dishwasher safe.
Width: 9cm (3.5 inches)
Height: 4cm (1.5 inches).
Each bowl has my own unique pottery seal at the base of the handle. Please note that slight variations in glaze and decoration are a nature of handmade ceramics.
This is a listing for one bird bowl only in brown and oatmeal. (A white bowl is available on a separate listing.)
