The best way to crush and grind herbs and spices, perfect for making pastes, pesto and dressings.
This dish was thrown on my pottery wheel using strong toasted stoneware clay, and I've finished it in a lovely dark forest green reactive glaze.
The large pouring lip makes it easy to tip out the ground up contents.
The grinding process is made easier by the unglazed stone surface's natural texture.
19cm across and 4cm high.
Weight 600gms.
Foodsafe glazes.....oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
