Dyeing my own fibre was always going to be the next step in my fibre arts practice! I love being able to create my own colours and not be constrained by what is available to purchase, and I want to share these hand-dyed goodies with you!

One hank, weighing 83g of dyed Banana Fibre ethically prepared by my supplier in India and shipped to me in bulk, ready for fast U.K. dispatch.
This exact fibre will be sent to you in a hank as pictured, but please be aware that it would be almost impossible to unwind the entire hank in the same fashion as yarn due to the threads being so fine. I prepare these hanks for craft use by opening the twisted hank and making one cut through the bundle so that I'm left with one long length from which I can pull individual threads or smaller bundles to cut into shorter lengths for blending into wool etc.

Perfect for blending with wool in your fibre batts or felting projects, add bundles of these banana threads to your art yarn spins or weaving for a beautiful texture and sheen.
