Full description
This bouncy blue texel fleece has been carefully washed before combing. With the fibres aligned, it is perfect for wet felting especially creations that require consistent layering. It also lends itself well to needle felting projects.
It is difficult to describe the colour of the fibres - the overall look is grey ranging in tone from light to mid-grey. On closer inspection it has distinct brown hues.
The fleece comes from a Blue Texel sheep living in North Wales. The fibre comes from the shorter skirt and belly of the fleece: less desirable for spinning but still perfect for other crafts.
Although care has been taken to remove as much vegetable matter as possible, a few pieces may remain.
Various quantities available, please select required amount when ordering. The main picture shows me holding approximately 25g of combed fibres. The 2nd photo shows 5g in a straw bowl.
