The idea of mixing contrasting colors of clay, so I have thrown this bowl from the warm terracotta colored clay and white clay, to produce the Pottery known as Agateware, as it produces a marbly effect within the clay body.

This bowl is made and designed by Penarth Ceramics. Featuring the "Agateware" style of Pottery production. Made from mixing a white clay and a red clay, to produce unique swirly patterns in the bowl. Finished in a glossy leadless glaze. This ceramic bowl also has a turned footring on the base. Suits hot or cold food serving, ie. pasta, rice, cereal, fruit, snacks, it could be used as a decorative pot or can be used as a general household bowl. Dishwasher and food safe. Stands 9 cms tall x 19 cms wide at the rim with a capacity of 600 mls
