The vase was made by throwing on the Potters wheel but with a double belly profile. I used a wax resist to make the white empty circle pattern. I was hoping to get a robin egg blue color and was pleased with the result.

Full description
A unique studio thrown, double bellied vase made in white earthenware clay. Decorated in wax resist Pottery technique in white circles. The Shape is an unusual double belly. Glazed in a Cornflower blue and also the inside being glazed and fully waterproof. A medium size vase which is suitable for fresh flowers and arrangements, or dried flower arrangements, Stands 12 cms tall by 11.5 cms wide at the rim. Capacity 350 mls
