Once upon a time in the 1980s, somebody carefully cut out more than a hundred squares and rectangles to make a child's quilt and then... well, then didn't make it. That's all we can surmise from this adorable selection of unused patches, in soft pastel colours and featuring toddlers in classic 80s toddler gear, as well as aeroplanes, hot air balloons, bunnies and various other creatures. I think the fabrics are all cotton and may be French. They vary in size, the largest around 14cm by 12cm. I've put them all in a very sweet vintage hand-made pochette along with the original templates, which seem to be from Wales. So a bit of a mystery but delightful bundle all the same.
