These originally started out as a set of outdoor lights for the garden. Unfortunately I forgot to take them in before bad weather and the lights stopped working. However, I liked the structure so much that rather than just put them in the bin I repurposed them by adding the glass.

Full description
This listing is for one metal frame bumble bee with translucent transparent stained glass wings. There are slight variations in the wing glass which can be selected from the drop down menu.
The finished bee measures approximately 7 cm wide and can be hung from the head. They would look great dangly in a tree in the summer, but should not be left out in poor weather or in the colder months.
This item is hand cut and crafted using the Tiffany foiled glass method; each piece of glass is edged with copper foil, soldered and cleaned; sometimes a patina is added. Craft glass has unique imperfections making every piece original - we have done our best to faithfully show you the true colours in the photographs.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
Price is for the glass item only.
Postage cost is for 48-hour, second class, small parcel, tracked delivery. Ordering multiple bees will be sent in the same package. Any unused postage costs will be refunded.
