This bright peony forget-me-not grew from my love of turning unused yarns into something joyful. The neon pink acrylic yarn came from my old stash, waiting for the right project, and the recycled cotton chain adds a soft, sustainable touch. I made the flower on a traditional yarn loom, then added a Tunisian crochet leaf for a modern twist, finishing it with a tiny wooden bee and ladybird. I wanted this handmade bookmark to feel like a burst of spring — bold colour, tiny details, and the calm of slow, mindful making. A small, cheerful heirloom to brighten every reading day.

A vibrant neon pink peony bookmark made with a traditional yarn-loom flower and a Tunisian crochet-inspired leaf, finished with a sweet wooden bee and a tiny wooden ladybird. The large flower has sky blue accents around a golden rosette centre embroidered with gold-plated stainless steel beads. The stem is made from recycled cotton yarn and measures roughly 22cm, bringing the whole bookmark to a total length of 30-31cm.
