This little pink forget-me-not grew from quiet afternoons spent crafting with my lovely mum-in-law, chatting over tea as the first spring flowers appeared in her garden. I crocheted the flower in a traditional British granny style using smooth waxed cotton yarn, and added a modern twist with a Tunisian crochet leaf, finished with a tiny wooden ladybird and a cheerful bee. Forget-me-nots symbolise connection and gentle remembrance, and I wanted this handmade crochet bookmark to capture that feeling — the promise of tiny blooms, the hum of spring, and the calm of slow, mindful making.
