This little forget-me-not began with quiet afternoons spent chatting with my lovely mum-in-law over tea, our knitting needles clicking as we talked about the first brave flowers in her spring garden. I made it using soft recycled cotton yarn and wools found in our local cancer charity shop — fibres with their own stories, given a new life in something joyful. Forget-me-nots have always symbolised connection and gentle remembrance, and I wanted to capture that feeling: the hum of bees, the promise of tiny blooms, the comfort of shared craft. Each stitch holds a moment of calm, turning a simple flower bookmark into a small heirloom made to brighten every reading day.
