Full description
A beautiful, vintage microscope that has been given a second life as an industrial style table or desk lamp. The eyepiece has been removed but most other parts are intact. This fantastic old piece of scientific equipment has been cleaned up and given a light polish but does show the patina that you'd expect from an old item. The lowering and raising eyepiece still all functions as so can set at different heights. I have installed new period twist cabling (approx 2m) which has an inline switch and period style 3A plug. Nickel plated bulb holder Edison B15 well mounted where the lens was. Included is the vintage style LED bulb with knurled effect which suits it so well . We give these microscopes alot of time and effort as so unique pieces . The original quality microscope is from the 1950s . Will come PAT tested .

My products are up cycled from original vintage and used items . A level of patina and wear and tear is to be expected. This is its unique character and age . The item is up-cycled and re purposed ,the original functionality most of the time will not apply. My items are for display and used as lamps. We install all new electrical components and sometimes remove parts of the original item in order to up-cycle. Most items have new wiring, lamp holder ,switch, plug , and come with safety PAT tested .
