Up cycled to a table lamp .(one off )
Up cycled by myself ; Reproduction tin toy of a 1940s Indian motorbike from my collection. Bought new approx 7 years ago. Mounted onto a solid Oak plinth cut , sanded, varnished and drilled ,then 4 feet put on to enable cable clearance. New electrics right thru to include Bakelite style 3Amp plug, 40s style 3 core twisted cable , inline switch , Brass effect lamp holder on a post which take standard E27 Edison screw bulb (bulb not included ) choice is huge . Independently PAT tested. Complete unique One off
NB. My products are up cycled from original vintage and used items . A level of patina and wear and tear is to be expected. This is its unique character and age . The item is up-cycled and re purposed ,the original functionality most of the time will not apply. My items are for display and used as lamps. When the up cycle is done by ourselves we install all new electrical components and sometimes remove parts of the original item in order to up-cycle. Most items have new wiring, lamp holder ,switch, plug , and come with safety PAT tested .
