Vintage Brooks cycle saddle up cycled table lamp
Original Vintage Brooks sprung Brown leather saddle in fantastic condition ,has been treated and cleaned . The mounted onto a solid timer plinth which has feet to enable cable clearance. Installed all new electrics including Bakelite style 3 amp plug ,vintage style 3 core twisted cable ,inline switch, new vintage style lamp holder to take Edison E27 screw bulb. The choice of bulb is vast. All independently Pat tested. We have done this carefully and the original seat is not altered in anyway to accommodate the lamp as these vintage Brooks seats have good value in good condition . This unique lamp would suit as a gift for any keen cyclist or just as a unique one off lamp thats sure to be a talking point.

My products are up cycled from original vintage and used items . A level of patina and wear and tear is to be expected. This is its unique character and age . The item is up-cycled and re purposed ,the original functionality most of the time will not apply. My items are for display and used as lamps. When the up cycle is done by ourselves we install all new electrical components and sometimes remove parts of the original item in order to up-cycle. Most items have new wiring, lamp holder ,switch, plug , and come with safety PAT tested .
