All the dolls listed as Perfectly Imperfect are older stock at a reduced price for the Perfectly Imperfect Event in February. Each is first quality not a second. xx
Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. This is a new collection of dolls from my favourite fairy tales and nursery rhymes with the odd favourite character thrown in. They are little girls rather than the women I normally make. Each is a complete one off and while I will revisit the theme I will not be repeating the individual doll. So OOAK.
My initial design of her apron featured a giant black spider in needle felt but it was so dominant I opted for a much delicate and I feel more frightening spider hidden amoung the blooms. This spider really would sit down beside you and make you jump! xx

Full description
This little doll is my Miss Muffet, Una. She is made from quality wool felt with frosted glass bead eyes and curly red wool roving for hair. Her facial details are hand embroidered and her hair is hand styled. She is dressed in an Acufactum print cotton called Blossom splendour and it features lots of rich summer flowers on a pale green gournd. Her wool bonnet is crocheted and made from a green local yarn..
Beneath her dress she has broderie anglais drawers with tiny cotton socks and wool felt boots. Her petticoats are a green cotton dot with white tulle lace. Her apron is heavily hand embroidered with a folk art pattern of summer blooms and a tiny spider, so not too frighening. She is finished with tiny buttons and a little embroidery sampler pillow. She has rose quartz to her heart.
Due to fine fabric, button joints and tiny details she is not suitable for children and is not a toy but a decorative item.
