‘Positively Pink’ was inspired by nature and the intricate detail that is inevitably lost within the overall image. A simple striking pink ombré effect created by hundreds of random stitches, each one stitched by hand, no machine work allowed here!
I have hand embroidered pink thread onto canvas in this work.
Every piece of art I make is unique and produced by hand, often reflecting the seasons.
Simply framed in a silver frame with touches of black to allow the art to shine.
Canvas size 50cm x 50cm plus frame.
Everything I make is inspired by nature, and the result maybe abstract or literal. I don't repeat work to maintain a style, I feel it's more important to let the inspiration dictate the direction each piece takes. I work with clay, fabric and thread, and found objects from the countryside and seashore.
Your purchase will be beautifully wrapped, and where possible, I use recycled packaging for the outer packing
