I've always had a fascination for acorns since I was small, I love using found objects and recycling materials to make earrings. I saw someone online using white glue and acrylics to create game pieces for tic-tac-toe and I thought how lovely to make them wearable.

Full description
These are created using acorn cups foraged along the towpaths where I moor. This year was a bumper harvest and everywhere I trod there were acorns carpeting the floor.
I've used the cups to make stud earrings, painted with acrylic paints and finished with stainless steel studs which are the best in terms of being hypoallergenic.
As these are made from individual cups they have some variations between them so they are not absolutely identical though I've matched them for size as much as I can.
There are 2 pink, 1 blue and 1 grey available.
