I have been knitting for longer than I care to remember. My mother taught me when I was 5. I love it. It's therapeutic, creative, meditative, rewarding, thoroughly enjoyable, portable.... I knit at every possible opportunity.
After years of making myself far too many jumpers I made a doll for my granddaughter, then more for private and public sales, and off I went! More and more until it became a bit of an obsession. I just love the wool I knit with, the colours and textures, and even the gorgeous soft carded lambswool I fill them with.
My items have no loose parts and have passed the CE and UKCA tests

I made the first of these dolls for my granddaughter, then I received some orders as they are so adorable and soft. Lovely soft wool body and dress, and wool blend hair. Really cosy and cuddly. I love creating them and I have lots of beautiful different colours for their dresses

Full description

Here is a gorgeous boy doll hand-made by me, stitch by stitch (not on a machine). He is made in lovely soft pure wool and is stuffed with beautiful lambswool. His removable dungarees are 100% pure wool and his hair is a soft wool/blend. Each of my dolls is made individually on needles not a machine. He can be gently washed by hand and then squeezed back into shape, or gently wiped down with a damp cloth.
