Part of my original ghost themed prints, I originally created after being inspired by some clay ghosts I made with a friend. We gave them little personalities and a life after death. It's the closest I will get to a self portrait.

Purl-tergeist was the last ghost I drew in the Hobbies in the Afterlife collection and is based on my love of yarn-craft! Inspired by some ethereal clay creations made by a friend, this hand-drawn, hand-carved, and hand-printed by me in my attic studio in Sheffield.
Purl-tergeist is busy clickety-clacking away, making a scarf, donning her handmade bobble hat and surrounded by some of her favourite knitting paraphernalia.
Printed in rich black acrylic ink on high-quality, smooth heavyweight paper, each piece carries the subtle variations that come from a fully manual process. No two prints are exactly the same, and the print you receive may differ slightly from the one shown in the image.
I think this would make an ideal gift for any a spooky knitter, or a creepy crocheter.
