Inspired by my husbands love of horror, as with my nosferatu print I think classic black and white films lend themselves perfectly to lino print.
I love trying to give the prints the feel of the film and make them instantly recognisable to fans of the genre.

Depicting Cesare from the classic The Cabinet of Dr Caligari movie, this print has been hand-drawn, hand-carved, and hand-printed by me in my attic studio in Sheffield.
Based on the iconic still of Conrad Veidt, and inspired by the bold, distorted architecture of the films set.
Printed in rich black acrylic ink on high-quality, smooth heavyweight paper, each piece carries the subtle variations that come from a fully manual process. No two prints are exactly the same, and the print you receive may differ slightly from the one shown in the image.
Frame not included.
