Full description
This is fabulously thick rug, ideal for a shower or bath mat, made from wool blanket selvedge fabric. Selvedge is the edges of the fabric cut off from when they have woven the wool fabric, this used to be thrown away, but now people are finding other uses for it. I've woven this on my old fashioned peg loom and turned it into a one of a kind rug.
I've used three different colours - black on the edges, followed by the same grey alongside the black with a different grey in the middle.
It measures 75cm long, 58cm wide and 1cm thick (approx)
A perfect accompaniment from stepping out the bath or shower. Or could also be used as a general purpose rug.
