Full description
All framed works are individual and unique, made in a textile art mixed media style. This particular piece is mounted in a small ( 10cm x 10cm and 3cm in depth ) grey shadow box frame. Each piece of textiles has roughly rustic hemmed edging , which has been crimped cut, and is also visible at the back of the frame (displayed in image above) this allows the piece itself to be removable. The work is stitched in various sparkly threads adding a shine and glisten to the work itself combined with beaded embellishments. My work has been inspired by the beauty of nature capturing the Cabbage White butterfly in its delicate form.
