One time at work we found a wren that had got inside and couldn't find its way out again; it wouldn't move so I had to pick it up very gently and place it outside. It weighed almost nothing in my hands. I put it down as quickly as I could and stepped away and it ruffled its feathers, looked around, and then flew away so fast it was as if it had disappeared into thin air.
