These candleholders were created slowly, in quiet moments, with no fixed plan for how they needed to turn out.
They began as simple wooden forms, solid and familiar, and were reworked by hand to soften their presence and bring them into a calmer, more reflective space. The floral surface emerged gently through layering, guided by feel, balance, and how the pieces wanted to sit together.
I was drawn to the idea of making something functional feel more companionable. Objects that don’t ask for attention, but offer it. Something that holds light without becoming the focus of it.
As a pair, they feel settled and supportive, intended to live side by side rather than stand alone.
Their presence is quiet, domestic, and reassuring — suited to spaces where you slow down, light a candle, and let the room soften around you.
They were made to belong in lived-in spaces — places where warmth, rhythm, and stillness matter more than display.
Safety information
Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, soft furnishings, or flammable materials. If used with candles, never leave a lit candle unattended. Allow wax and the holder to cool fully before handling or moving. These candleholders are decorative objects and are not intended for children’s play. Clean gently with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not soak or immerse in water.

This is a one-of-a-kind pair of wooden candlesticks, upcycled and finished by hand using decoupage. They began as simple wooden forms and have been carefully reworked to sit easily together as a pair.
They carry a gentle, settled presence — pieces that don’t demand attention, but quietly change how a space feels once they’re there. They bring a sense of balance and warmth, holding light in a way that feels comforting rather than formal.
These are candlesticks made for atmosphere. For evenings that slow down, for moments of pause, for spaces that are meant to feel held.
Details
approximately 24–26 cm in height, and are suitable for standard dinner or taper candles.
They are sold as a matching pair and are one of a kind.
Candles are not included.

These candlesticks work beautifully as a pair, placed either side of something meaningful — a small artwork, a stone, a photograph, or simply left to stand together on their own.
