Full description
This lacy shawl is truly exclusive to Wonderwoollens. Firstly, I blended several shades of blue merino wool, together with shiny white bamboo, then I handspun this blend into a lightweight yarn. Then I blended some darker shades of blue merino with some recycled sari silk in multiple colours and handspun this blend into another yarn. I then knitted this shawl to my own design, using the first, paler yarn for the main part and adding a border and tassels in the darker yarn.
I used mirabelle stitch for the main part and a chevron stitch for the border.
Size - this shawl measures a generous 54" wide (wingspan) by 24" from top centre to bottom centre.
