A scarf with a story... a silk painting of tulips, discharged through rosemary dyed wool: after steaming the tulips lost shape and became abstract flowers. Scarf and silk borders were bundle dyed with deep blue hyacinth flowers. Cream silk borders were added, lino printed with blue hyacinth flowers, brown Celtic pattern and green Celtic dragon. Embroidery was added to abstract flower shapes to give definition.
