Experiments on fine wool show eco prints work well with an result. Images show some of the processes. The scarf was eco printed and steamed twice as first leaf print was feint. Yellow orange coreopsis flowers were added as well as Black Hopi Seeds which give violet to black. These flowers were used in the coordinating silk border which gives a flourishing shine at the ends. Accurate colour is the flat laid images.

Fine wool scarf with silk end borders. Overall warm gold merged tones. Eco printed with natural plant dyes including leaves, Orange Coreopsis, Black Hopi Seeds, Purple Scabious, Purple Hesperanth. Gold green background abstract blurred leaf prints. Scattered deep purple colours from seeds. Has 5 inch doubled eco printed satin smooth peace silk border ends in similar eco prints of orange Coreopsis and Black Hopi seed. Length 66 inches (1608mm) Width 13 inches (400mm).
