This artwork is inspired by the Song Thrush who often accompanies us on our late-winter and early-Spring morning walks, often in the half-light, as he serenades us from hedges and fenceposts.
It’s a lovely way to start the day - peaceful, with just the soothing and uplifting melodies of one of nature’s most amazing songsters…

Fine art giclee print of my hand-drawn song thrush illustration.
The song thrush is a bird of joy and melody - known for its enchanting, echoing calls - and this detailed artwork was created to honour that lyrical spirit. The repeating phrases of the song thrush feel like part of the soundtrack of woodland edges and garden evenings. This illustration was created in coloured pencils and pens, layering warm browns and soft markings to capture the character of this much-loved bird. Hand-drawn in my cottage in Yorkshire, inspired by the thrushes that sing from the hedgerows of the nearby fields.
Printed as an A4 fine-art giclée on sustainable Hahnemühle bamboo paper using archival inks, each piece captures the warmth and texture of the original coloured pencil and pen drawing. Every print is signed, backed by recycled acid-free board, and packaged gently in eco-conscious materials to reflect the premium quality and the care taken to create a print worthy of this much-loved singer.
