I always woke on Christmas morning to find a bear sitting at the bottom of my bed so bears have always been a tradition during my growing up. I made cheap fabric bears often out of old clothes and later for many years made antique style mohair bears.

Full description
This is Santa's midnight Helper. He measures 10" (25cm) sitting and is knitted in a wool yarn with a brushed alpaca for extra softness.
As he will be out all night delivering present with Father Christmas he wear a warm cape made in midnight blue wool yarn with added sparkle and a brushed mohair for extra cosy. The cape is trimmed in a soft feather yarn to protect him from the cold wind.
The bear has jointed arms and legs and carries a lantern to light the way.
