This ornament began as a quiet moment remembered—three terriers nestled by the bay window, watching the hush of Christmas Eve unfold. I painted the scene in watercolour, letting the soft glow and gentle mischief of Earl, Red, and Georgie Jack Rascal guide each brushstroke. The poem followed, echoing the rhythm of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, but with paws and wonder.
Now printed on ceramic, this little keepsake carries the warmth of that memory—ready to hang, gift, or tuck into a stocking with love.

This glossy ceramic ornament features a high-quality print of my original ink and watercolour illustration Waiting for Santa Paws—a cosy scene inspired by our old Thatched Cottage, where Earl, Red, our mischievous Border Terriers, and Georgie Jack Rascal perch by the bay window, watching the wintry night unfold.
Printed on both sides for full festive charm, this 70mm ornament comes threaded with gold string, ready to hang on your tree, mantle, or gift wrap. Each piece is mounted on Kraft card and includes a printed copy of my original poem on the reverse—tailored from ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, but with terriers and tail wags.
This ornament is a heartfelt way to celebrate the season, share a story, or gift a little magic to someone special.
