The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, stains and scratches, part of the original character of the ceramic. All Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
The idea is to create something new from old, found by chance, full of history and character. To present and deliver unique Eco Friendly gifts in Sustainable Packaging.

Additional terms
All ceramic personally collected from river banks, charity shops, recycle centres, beaches, wherever dropped, dumped or donated ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Each item comes with a short bio. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns in ceramics there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece. Ceramic will show marks, scratches and imperfections, all part of its history and journey.

I found a lovely pair of trinket bowls in a charity shop in Sunderland. Sadly both were chipped and marked down to throw away. One bowl had lovely bright patterns and the other silver.
This little pendant is made from the decorated bowl. I gently clipped it into random shapes, this created a few pieces but a lot of ceramic was damaged.
I hand shaped and sanded one small piece, part of the inside of the bowl and placed in a recycled sterling silver open back bezel. Lovely dark red flower, very slightly concave in the pendant tray.
The idea is to create something new from old and use recycled materials to produce individual, distinctive gifts. One off jewellery, completely unique in every way.
The finished piece isn’t meant to be perfect but instead retain part of the original character, including marks and scratches, all part of the history of the materials used. Ceramic and Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed and might show tiny marks.

Set in 12mm round open back recycled silver bezel tray.
Both polished and hallmarked 925.
