The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, stains and scratches, part of the original character of the ceramic. All Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.

Additional terms
All ceramic personally collected from river banks, charity shops, recycle centres, beaches, wherever dropped, dumped or donated ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Each item comes with a short bio. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns in ceramics there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece. Ceramic will show marks, scratches and imperfections, all part of its history and journey.

I visited Penrith October 2023, a lovely market town in Cumbria where I bought a small box of lovely but damaged Forget-Me-Not flower design plates.
This pendant is the second piece of jewellery created from the Forget-Me-Not plates, part of a new collection of unique themed jewellery. Handcrafted from part of the rim, over the course of a few days I used a small polishing strip to smooth and shine the glaze. Set in a small recycled silver bezel tray this pendant is smaller than the first, a more delicate size.
The idea is to create something new from old and use recycled materials to produce individual, distinctive gifts. One off jewellery, completely unique in every way.
The finished piece isn’t meant to be perfect but instead retain part of the original character, including marks and scratches, all part of the history of the materials used. Ceramic and Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed and might show tiny marks left by the process of creation.
Hanging on 18 inch recycled sterling silver chain.
Set in 10 mm recycled silver bezel tray.
Both polished and hallmarked 925.
Delivered in gift box made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue.
Presented on Jewellery box insert made from tall oil, a by-product of paper production.
