This is the view from my bedroom window. One day it was misty and raining, and the next day the sun bathed the hills in beautiful golden light. I wanted to encapsulate the variations of the weather during autumn in these miniature mixed media paintings. A key element is the contrasting warm and cool tones, despite the landscape you are looking at being unchanged. I also chose frames that enhance the colour themes in each piece, while still allowing them to work as a set and tell the story of the weather.

FRAMED Set of two 4x4" Mixed Media on Watercolour Paper
The rolling hills of English countryside can look very different from day to day. These are original paintings of the exact same view; one day was full of rain and mist, and the next the hills were bathed in golden light. It shows how the weather plays a significant role in shaping the world around us.
