Welcome & thank you for looking at my shop.
Please enjoy looking at my eclectic oil & watercolor paintings which cover a broad spectrum of subjects that delight and entrance me.
My work is influenced by my love of pattern and harmony of form in nature, illuminated manuscripts, and Persian miniatures as well as Impressionism and Fauvism

This is the scene I look out at from my landing window.... a tonic I try not to take for granted

Watercolour on watercolour paper

Artwork: 11.5 x 17 inches , with soft cream mount: 17.5 x 22 inches

This watercolour painting captures a serene late-summer landscape bathed in warm golden light. I painted expansive fields dotted with freshly rolled hay bales, their long shadows stretching across the ground as the sun begins to lower. Soft greens and ochres sweep across the distant hills, while a gentle sky of lilac, blue, and muted grey creates a calm, spacious atmosphere.

In the foreground, I added delicate wild plants and grasses to draw the viewer into the scene, and overhanging branches frame the composition from above, giving a sense of depth and place. My signature rests in the lower right-hand corner.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the piece, and it will be carefully packaged in a custom protective box before being promptly dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked delivery.

Please note: the frame shown is for presentation purposes only and is not included with the painting.
