Welcome to my Folksy shop.
My great passion is nature in all her forms . I try through my artwork to give a feeling of the beauty and mystery of landscapes animal and birds .
Using natural products is important , so wool ,wood ,silk ,cotton and linen are my main supplies .
I live in York , so am surrounded by the beautiful landscape and coastline of the Yorkshire Dales and Moors .
I have pieces at sale price , these are items from older collections , but still beautiful!
Orders are sent first class tracked . Signed for is added for expensive items .

I love robin artwork all year round, although it's usually Christmas that Robins are acociated with .

On a background of hand painted linen , an embroidered robin stands on an embroidered branch , looking out into the woodland.
The robin has a black bead eye . The feathers are created using long stitches , stitched at different angles to give shading .
The branch has long stitches and french knots for textures.
In an embroidery hoop 5.5 inches across.
