Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
Each year we have a bluetit family nest in our bird box, and this year was no exception. I love nothing more than to watch mum and dad fly in and out of the box whilst nesting, and this year we actually saw from our kitchen window one of the babies taking their first flight - I can't tell you how magical that was to watch.

An original fabric applique and free machine embroidered design, embellished with painted details. Photographed to a high quality and printed onto 150 gsm cardstock and laminated inhouse, with a matching satin ribbon attached.
