Currently I am making a few ceramic items only using check. That was the inspiration. Simple alternate black squared pattern is eyecatching.

Full description
This a Ceramic Candleholder with a round handle, and a candle well. Suits all tall or tapered candles. Made by "throwing" on the potters wheel, from toasted oatmeal, fired colored clay hence the dark beige color and has been hand painted in the chequered pattern, using black stain. The candleholder is finished with a clear glaze to retain the natural fired color of the clay. Stands 3.6 cms tall x 12.7 cms diameter at the rim.
